Carol Braden

I am a Northwest-based, self-taught artist best known for my full-sized guitar sculptures made from authentic license plates. I also dabble in paint and mixed media pieces; always using recycled and re-purposed items in my work wherever practical.

Artist Statement: One of my greatest passions is repurposing common objects. Things you'd find at your corner hardware store or hidden in the back of the garage -- everything from old snow saucers, to road signs, to roofing shingles -- get their second wind when arranged in new ways.
